Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine the functionality of the balance model, one of the inventories in positive psychotherapy, in treating panic disorder, and the positive developments it adds to the individual’s life, in the context of a case study. In the study, conducted with a 27-year-old female patient diagnosed with panic disorder, it was observed that the balance model provided the individual with insight, and helped her learn to establish a connection between problems and symptoms by recognizing the underlying problems and avoiding individuals who caused her difficulties. Over time, it created balance in her daily life and contributed positively to her development.
