“Trauma and Transformation – Genograms in Psychological Trauma” by Dr. Prof. Afrim Blyta

About the Workshop:

Trauma is not just an event from the past. It lives on in the body, psyche, and relationships. It shapes our defense strategies, partner choices, and the depth of contact with ourselves and the world. But trauma also holds transformative potential—when space is created for awareness, safe contact, and integration. We’ll explore the key phases and conditions that trigger the transformation process. Traumatic experiences are rarely isolated. They’re often embedded in family history and passed down through generations. The genogram is a powerful tool to uncover these hidden dynamics. During the workshop, participants will learn how to use genograms to diagnose trauma and plan therapeutic work accordingly.
