Dear Members of WAPP,
We are pleased to share with you two significant strategic decisions made by the newly elected Board, which has already held two productive meetings since November 2024. These decisions mark an important step in our Association’s growth and future direction:
Restructuring Work into Seven Strategic Areas
To effectively manage our growing activities and membership, the Board has organized its responsibilities into seven distinct segments, each led by a dedicated Board member. These members will serve as expert advisors and oversee their respective areas. However, all member correspondence should continue to be directed to the Head Office Team.
Defining Strategic Goals for Each Area
For the next two years, the Board has established clear strategic goals for each area, ensuring alignment with WAPP’s mission and vision.
Please find below the board members tasks and the strategic goals.

Below is a short overview of the areas and their responsibilities:
1. Chairperson
Hamid Peseschkian oversees governance, legal matters, networking with other associations, and supporting the Head Office team.
2. Head Office
Raluca Ursica, acting as General Secretary, ensures effective liaison between the Board and Head Office, and supervises the daily work of the Head Office.
3. Agencies
Liudmyla Moskalenko coordinates the Agencies, connecting them with the Head Office, the Board, and among themselves.
4. Ethics and Finance
Snezhanka Dimitrova leads efforts in ethics and finance, including establishing an Ethics Committee and securing additional funding.
5. Membership and Events (former Governance committee)
Ewa Dobiala leads the Membership & Events committee, overseeing all membership issues and upcoming events.
6. Training (Committee)
Pavel Frolov chairs the Training Committee, focusing on curriculum quality and expansion.
7. Publications (Committee)
Olga Lytvynenko oversees research, publishing efforts, and social media activities.

To support this structure, Chairs will soon invite potential Co-Chairs and committee members to join their respective teams. If you currently serve on a committee and wish to continue your role, we greatly value your contributions. However, if you wish to step back, please inform the Head Office.
