Terminology and Conceptual Framework of Positive Psychotherapy
Many books on Positive Psychotherapy (PPT after N. Peseschkian, since 1977) refers to a number of key terms and concepts that form the foundation of Positive Psychotherapy as developed by Nossrat Peseschkian. To support consistent understanding and international dialogue, a dedicated online glossary and conceptual framework are available.
This resource has been developed by the World Association for Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy (WAPP), in collaboration with international expert groups. It provides:
- Definitions of essential terms in Positive Psychotherapy
- The conceptual framework of the method, including its key principles and structure
- Terminological versions in 12 languages
- Regular updates aligned with current developments in the method
