30 Years of International Dialogue in Psychotherapy

This conference marks the 30th anniversary of a landmark event in psychotherapy history: the European Evolution of Psychotherapy Conference in Hamburg, July 1994. At that time, renowned figures such as Viktor Frankl, Paul Watzlawick, Irvin Yalom, Aaron Beck, Salvador Minuchin, Otto Kernberg, Eugene Gendlin, Albert Ellis, and many others gathered to shape the future of psychotherapy. Among them was Nossrat Peseschkian, the founder of Positive Psychotherapy, who played a key role in integrating transcultural perspectives into psychotherapy.

By reflecting on this historic moment, the WAPP Super Conference 2025 will highlight the ongoing evolution of psychotherapy, its social responsibility, and its role in addressing modern challenges such as pandemics, wars, climate change, and economic crises.

Key Goals:

✅ Unite professionals from diverse psychotherapy approaches worldwide
✅ Foster dialogue and collaboration across different methodologies
✅ Highlight psychotherapy’s role in social responsibility
✅ Explore future directions in a rapidly changing world
