On March 26, an international conference titled “Armenia at the Crossroads of East and West: Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapists in Dialogue” took place, bringing together colleagues from Armenia, Romania, Argentina, Portugal, Georgia, Bulgaria, Russia and Germany.

What was initially planned as a small meeting in Yerevan grew into a full-day conference with around 100 participants from more than eight countries. The event became a space for meaningful exchange, where professionals shared diverse perspectives and practical applications of Positive Psychotherapy (PPT after Peseschkian, since 1977) across different cultural and professional contexts.

The conference was marked by open dialogue, professional reflection, and genuine human connection. A wide range of presentations highlighted how the method continues to develop and adapt in various settings around the world.

The conference was attended by Dr. Hamid and Catherine Peseschkian.. A special note of appreciation goes to the host, Milana Petrosova, for the thoughtful organization and for bringing this international community together.

The symbol of the conference, Mount Aragats, reflected the idea of balance, diversity, and the ongoing journey toward harmony within oneself and with the world — values that were clearly present throughout the event.
